I really like your detail of your corner notch. Nice. I too have used cardboard as a base with leaving the grass as a natural source of nitrogen. And I added a 1/4 inch hardware cloth because of our neighborhood voles. The little darlings gnaw through almost everything. Now you can enjoy many seasons of fresh veges. Comforting, isn’t it.
